Um causo

Existe uma possibilidade de se desconectar um tanto da própria cultura quando se é imigrante. Ontem eu fiz algo (comum e super simples, mas, que nunca tinha feito) que me trouxe umas risadas inesperadas, e deixou minha brasilidade mais acordada.

Lembrei do quanto eu gostava de assistir o Programa do Jô quando era adolescente - sempre torcia e esperava ver uma entrevista em inglês. Era muito bittersweet - o fato de eu, muitas vezes, entender o que o Jô falava, mas, nem sempre o que o entrevistado respondia.

Duvidada dos métodos do meu curso de inglês e da minha capacidade como aluna. Que farsa eu estaria me tornando se eu entendia o inglês do brasileiro, mas, não o do gringo? Pois é, minha gente! Acontece… aconteceu comigo, e muito.

Fui então procurar uma entrevista do Jô falando em inglês para mostrar para vocês, porém me distraí e assisti uma entrevista dele com o Faustão.

Meu coração imigrante ficou quentinho!
