Previously on English from Brasil: #53 At Least the Bathroom Was Nice
Hello, hello!
Sim, esse é o meu tipo de humor. 😄

A lesson
Let’s talk about T-shirts and messages.
Sometimes our clothes say something — literally. But how do we describe them in English?
Here are some examples:
I'm wearing a funny T-shirt.
This T-shirt has a joke on it.
The message is a play on words.
No one got it, but I laughed anyway.
Try this:
Look at your clothes today. Can you describe what you're wearing in English?
Write a few sentences:
What are you wearing?
Is there a message, colour, or story behind it?
Example:
I'm wearing a white T-shirt with a funny and clever design.
It shows a chameleon slowly changing colour to match a series of commas.
At the start, the commas are red, orange, yellow, and green.
The chameleon is next to them — and it’s changing colours to blend in with the commas.
The joke is a pun based on the title of the 80s song “Karma Chameleon” by Culture Club.
The word “karma” sounds like “comma” in some English accents.
So when you look at the T-shirt and see a line of commas followed by a chameleon, your brain fills in the sound:
“Comma, Comma, Comma, Comma, Comma Chameleon…” 🎶
It's a visual + phonetic pun!
A question
Have you ever worn something no one understood but you loved anyway?
