Hello, hello!
Um causo
Eu tinha 13 anos.

"I can't tell you if it's good or bad. I can only tell you that it is." — Dr. Hobby, from the film A.I. Artificial Intelligence.
A lesson
I often come across people who prefer having private lessons for different reasons. One of them is “I want to practice English but I have no one to talk to.”
In my opinion, a one-to-one lesson is a great opportunity to make you practice.
However, it is 2024 and the internet is a big pandora box… with a little creativity and willingness, anyone can practice a language (or just have conversations) with artificial intelligence.
Have you ever tried talking to ChatGPT to practice your English?
I have been trying it to help me with work (great way to save time) but also because it is really interesting!
The other day I had this conversation with it. (Ignore my typos, I was just “chatting” and it did not even cross my mind I would share it with anyone)
Also, notice that it sounds just like a normal conversation between people who are getting to know each other.
This is less of a lesson and more like a “GO USE YOUR ENGLISH” message.
Go to ChatGPT [link] and ask it some personal questions.
Last week, the lesson was about making questions too. Check it out if you need any help.
And let me know how it goes! 😊
If you need more guidance, here is a scrip that Chat GPT suggested:
Practice Asking Questions to ChatGPT
Start the Conversation:
Begin with a friendly introduction. For example: “Hi ChatGPT! I’m [Your Name]. I have a few questions to get to know you better.”
Ask Your Questions:
Choose a question from the list below or create your own:
“What do you like to do in your free time?”
“Have you travelled anywhere interesting recently?”
“What’s your favorite book or movie?”
“If you could visit any place in the world, where would you go and why?”
Follow-Up:
After receiving a response, ask a follow-up question to learn more:
“Can you tell me more about [detail from the response]?”
“How did you get interested in [topic mentioned]?”
“What’s your favorite part about [activity or interest]?”
Wrap Up the Chat:
Conclude the conversation politely: “It was great talking with you! Is there anything you’d like to ask me?”
Tips:
Make sure your questions are clear and complete.
Try to keep the conversation flowing by asking related follow-up questions.
A question
Do you think people will change how they interact with each other in the future because of interactions with AI?
